Yelapa has a variety of activities to choose from which can either be free or guided. The great thing about this place is that you can do as much or as little as you like, depending upon what type of vacation you are looking for. This is a sample of some of our favorites:

• Soaking up the sun on either beach in town (known as La Playa and La Playita)
• Exploring the village and mingling with the wonderful locals
• Local waterfalls (guided upon request)
• Botanical gardens
• Day trip to Puerto Vallarta
• Disco nights in Yelapa at The Yacht Club (Wednesdays and Saturdays)
• Enjoying wonderful meals at a variety of local restaurants
• Swimming
GUIDED (by very knowledgeable, English speaking guides)

• Marietas Islands (nature preserve which is great for bird watching and snorkeling)
• Whale watching
• Snorkeling trips
